The first ever Clark County Repair Café will be setting up shop at the Clark County Habitat for Humanity Store at 10811 SE 2nd Street in Vancouver Tuesday, March 21 from 6pm to 8pm. It’s a great opportunity to bring your clothing, small home appliances, small motor engines, jewelry or small electronics and volunteer fixers will repair them.
Individuals may bring up to two items each and must be present while the repairs are taking place. If supplies are needed, a few replacement pieces will be available for purchase, organizers said. But it’s a good idea to bring along cords, buttons, spark plugs, etc. if you know that’s what is needed to make the repair. They also stressed that participants not bring any item that is leaking, dangerous, dirty or has a strong odor.
