'Swoon-worthy' ReStore find in The Oregonian write-up

Here’s a tale that needs repeating. Marcia Westcott Peck and Dennis Peck, The Oregonian/OregonLive Home & Garden writers, shared their adventure of discovery and DIY rehabbing of a ‘swoon-worthy’ maple dining room table found at The ReStore.

This is a love story as old as time itself.
You know:
Boy meets girl.
Boy falls madly in love with girl.
Girl falls madly in love with an old table.

Who doesn’t love a love story–especially one with such a  happy ending? Though we stop short of calling our staff and volunteers Cupids, we like to promote these kinds of lasting relationships for several good reasons: keeping materials out of landfills, providing affordable home improvement materials (furniture, home goods, appliances, building materials included) and ultimately and most significantly, raising funds for Habitat for Humanity.

Take a read. Then head over to The ReStore and find your own true love. (DISCLAIMER: It won’t be the last!)
