Faced with a huge estimate for building custom counters and seating, owners of the newly-opened Seastar Bakery/Handsome Pizza decided to go the ReStore route instead. Katia Bezerra-Clark said she and partners Annie Moss, Will Fain and Matt Kedzie reclaimed cabinets and benches from The ReStore, fitting them into their new space at 1603 NE Killingsworth- and saving lots of dough in the process! Stop in and see what’s cooking at Seastar (something wood-fired) next time you’re in the neighborhood.
