The Portland ReStore RecycleOn Center is now open! We’re proud to partner with RecycleOn Oregon to host a new RecycleOn Center at the Portland ReStore.
Our RecycleOn Center gives community members a free, convenient place to recycle certain materials that don’t belong in home recycling carts.
Accepted materials include:
- plastic bags and stretchy plastic
- plastic lids and caps
- plastic package handles
- plastic buckets and pails
- shredded paper
- aluminum foil and trays
The center is part of Oregon’s Recycling Modernization Act, which is funding improvements that make recycling easier and more accessible statewide.
Before visiting:
- Make sure materials are empty and dry.
- Review the accepted materials list.
- Check our donation center hours. Please note that recycling these materials at the ReStore does not qualify as a donation, and is not tax-deductible.
