Back on the Rack makes a stop at The ReStore

They own the largest children’s resale store in the Pacific NW, and when they recently upgraded their location, Dawn and Misty swung by the Washington County ReStore to donate extra cash wraps and clothing racks.

 Why The ReStore?

“We come here all the time!” said Dawn. “We’re community base and we’re about sustainability.”

Back in the Rack is going on their 17th year selling consigned children’s and maternity clothing.

As they neared their March move, Dawn and Misty reached out to Community Access Services, the Department of Human Services and other Portland- area organizations, inviting local families to shop for free. Then on one of their few remaining days at their old location, they loaded up the leftover racks and cash wraps and headed to The ReStore.

It was a whirlwind move for the duo. They closed their doors at the old location on March 4 and opened their doors at the new location on March 17. And yet, they still made time for some fun.

“We’re going to park the truck and come in and shop,” Dawn said.
