It’s easy enough to spot store manager Danny Dunn. He’s the one in the colorful hardhat. Today it’s a brilliant red one. His fashion forward haircut and large plastic wood-grain charcoal-rimmed glasses also set him apart.
If you’ve donated or shopped at the Washington County ReStore, you’ve probably met warehouse supervisor Demarcus Stephens. His ready smile and enthusiasm for getting things done fairly and efficiently are some of the reasons he’s so popular among ReStore visitors and staff.
DIY projects take on a decidedly feminine cast when Amanda Bachelder takes out her paint brush and drop cloth. Amanda scours thrift stores, estate sales and The ReStore to bring home raw materials, used furniture and various design elements for her DIY projects.
At a very early age, Nicholas Chandler took the adventures of Louis L'Amour to heart and followed it down a path that led him--at 16--onto a freight train heading for Chicago.
