About Us

We're happy to meet you!

We're always a bit surprised when we bump into someone who doesn't know The ReStore. That's because we're so jazzed about The ReStore, we think everyone should know about it.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donated new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, lighting fixtures and other home goods, and we sell them in our stores to raise money for Habitat home-building projects. In fact, this past year we took in 40,151 donations from individuals and business partners.

Our stores in Portland, Beaverton and Vancouver (and soon in Gresham) support three Habitat affiliates: Portland/Metro East, Willamette West, and Evergreen. This past year we raised enough money to build 15 Habitat homes in partnership with low-income families.

The ReStore is also big into reuse, diverting over 6,300 tons of reusable materials from landfills last year--and we're working to improve that number. Our shoppers are some of the most creative on the planet. We love how they re-think, re-imagine and re-invent with used materials. Of course we have to heap praise and appreciation on our generous donors and business partners and our amazing team of volunteers who clocked over 61,448 hours this past year. Together we're helping to make the dream of homeownership a reality for hardworking families right here.

What is The ReStore? We are the home improvement outlet where you'll discover something new (and used) every day.

Want to be a part of it?
